Race Track Facts

Mount Panorama, Bathurst is a 6.2km circuit and features 23 corners.

The Track

Mount Panaroma, Bathurst is the king of Australian motorsport tracks and is named #5 best race track around the world!

This street circuit which is a public road when events are not being held is host to the Bathurst 1000, Bathurst 12 hour and Bathurst 6 hour – some Australia’s biggest Motorsport events.

The race track has an unusual design with a 174-metre (571 ft) vertical difference between its highest and lowest points, and grades as steep as 1:6.13.

From the start-finish line, events on the track can be viewed in three sections; the short pit straight and then a tight left turn into the long, steep Mountain straight; the tight, narrow section across the top of the mountain itself; and then the long, downhill section of the famous Conrod Straight, with the very fast Chase and the turn back onto pit straight to complete the lap.

Your Fastrack V8 Race experience is weather dependent.

If it’s raining before you leave home, please call our weather check number on 0412 018 035 for a recording with the latest track and weather conditions.

If a total or partial rainout does occur, your booking will automatically be turned into a gift voucher and will be emailed to you.

Session Length

Please arrive at the confirmed arrival time on your confirmation. Allow approx 3 hours at the race track.

Indemnity Form

An Indemnity form will need to be completed by the participant in the experience. The indemnity form can be downloaded here

Dress Code

Weight and height restrictions apply (please see FAQ for more information). Please wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes – we recommend runners.

Spectator Information

Friends and family are welcome to come along and share your experience at no additional fee. There is plenty of good viewing and photo opportunities at the venue. Catering facilities may be available on the day (please see FAQ for more information).

Rebooking

Please note Bathurst is an exceptional event, a 60-day cancellation policy applies. No bookings will be refunded or rescheduled within 60 days of the booked event. Vouchers can be transferred to another person if the original participant is unable to attend. Lunch bookings purchased are non-refundable.
