The Track
Mallala Motorsport Park is known in racing circles as a ‘real driver’s track’ with its highly demanding conditions featuring a variety of bends, curves, straights and unusual shape, it’s understandable to see why its SA favourite racetrack.
Since the circuit was first established on the site of the former RAAF Base Mallala in the 1960s it was host to the Australian Grand Prix and Australian Touring Car Championship before becoming the annual hosts of the Mallala Historics and the Shannons Nationals Motor Racing Championship.
