Become a national V8 hot lap driver!

Get behind the wheel of a V8 racing car on all of the best supercar circuits to make everyone’s dreams come true. You’ll even be doing hot laps on the Mount Panorama Racing Circuit in Bathurst.

Craft your circuit driving skills with track time that every aspiring racer would love to do and be paid $500 dollars per day for about 45 weekend days for one year. That’s $22,500 in extra weekend pay without needing to give up your regular work. All airfares, car rental, accommodation and meals will be paid for.

The 10 highest point scorers will attend the Sandown Top 10 Shootout, an all-expenses paid advanced race seminar in Melbourne for final interview and instruction. If your combined 3 lap average, is the fastest in the Shootout, you will be awarded a one-year contract as a professional V8 hot lap driver.

Here’s how it rolls…

Applicants will be required to purchase a test drive package driving two 10 lap sessions – a Practice session, then the judged Qualifier session.

For this exclusive bonus for Fastrack V8 VIPs you will also receive the opportunity to purchase a 6 lap Super Drive at half price to get in some extra practice.

Select your preferred track from the 4 venues below and pay your competitor entry fee now to secure your place on the grid.

On the day, you’ll be assigned a professional in-car coach. Your Qualifier session will be scored by your professional coach and independently by a professional racing instructor using your live action in-car recording.

Terms & Conditions

Applicants must have a current Australian driver’s license.

Applicants who have worked as a driving instructor/coach either as a contractor or employee for Fastrack V8 Race Experience since 1st of January 2017 are NOT eligible to apply.

Applicants agree to acknowledge that the decision based on the judging criteria will be accepted as final.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain a CAMS license.

Any additional extended training period will be supplied by Fastrack V8 Race Experience prior to the commencement of the contract.
